Trump-Backed WLFI Prepares $483M Token Unlock on September 1

World Liberty Financial (WLFI), a project endorsed by former President Donald Trump, is gearing up for a significant token unlock event on September 1. Approximately 1.627 billion WLFI tokens, representing 16.27% of the total supply and valued at $483 million, are currently secured in a Lockbox contract. The tokens are priced at $0.297 each, reflecting strong community confidence ahead of the unlock.

Token holders have until August 31, 2025, to activate their Lockbox accounts for the initial unlock. The first 20% of presale and eligible tokens will be claimable at 8:00 a.m. ET on September 1, with the remaining 80% subject to future community governance decisions. The Lockbox feature page is now operational, providing transparency and user control over the process.
